Free for families. Needs an iPhone on iOS 16.2 or later, or an Android phone on Android 10 or later.
Once it’s installed
LockedIn is set up by your school. Three things, and it runs on its own.
Sign in with your school email
Your school adds every student before setup, so there are no class codes to find.Allow what the app asks for
The app explains each permission before it asks. Location, set to Always, is the one every school needs: it’s how the phone knows it’s on campus.Go to school
Your school’s hours and campus do the rest. If your school has students start the lock each morning, the app shows them how.
What LockedIn can see
During school hours, whether the phone is on campus and whether it’s locked. It never collects messages, photos, browsing or social media, and it keeps no trail of where anyone goes. Read the privacy policy
